Traffic in India
Indians it seems have no notion of order when it comes to travel on roads. Everyone just goes most going through the middle of the road without concern about how to efficiently move through traffic. When you see a pedestrian the order of the day is to speed up until you are really close at which point you break. Crossing a main street is like playing Russian roulette as the risk involved is quite big. However, through all this there is a form of order. It is the view of self-importance. With a billion people the importance that one holds is society is determined by their mode of transportation. By ignoring rules and putting oneself above another they are attempting to put themselves psychologically above others. By thwarting the effective flow of other vehicles it would seem that progress is seen as an individualistic modality.
